Praktika Rosefo lauko tyrimų stotyje

Over the past four months I have been interning as Young Researcher in the Rosef Field Research Station. This organisation established to monitor and investigate various wild animals and ticks in Norway. Colleagues were honest, friendly and ready to help in all situations, while head of the company helped to find housing and showed the surrounding area and introduced to the Norwegian cuisine. The main work during the internship was to collect and analyze biological material and to tag wild red deer with GPS-collars. Although most work took place at night, in the forests, but I gained invaluable experience and knowledge. At this time we preparing several joint publications and I think that in the future I will work in projects with this organization.  I strongly recommend everyone to take part in Erasmus+ Mobility programme.
