Physical Chemistry Internship in Hasselt University, Belgium

I did my internship  in Hasselt University, Inorganic and Physical chemistry Department. I’m PhD student and I have my own topic of research. In Hasselt University I did a lot of synthesis of lanthanide aluminum garnets. Some of them I calcined in different environment, what was difficult to do in my faculty. I learnt and used various analyses methods like FTIR, XRD, PL, TEM, Raman, NMR. I achieved many results in a very short period (2 months only). It was very useful for my continued studies.

Knowledge gained during my internship will be useful in my future research as well as an extended professional network –  new colleagues from my researching area with whom I’ll keep continued working relations.
