My Internship at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

It has been my desire to do my internship abroad but I have never thought of doing it with any of the UN Agencies. After 2 semesters (1 year) of my Master’s degree program in Business Economics at Kaunas University of Technology (KTU), I am glad I was given the opportunity to take up my internship at the UNDP in Copenhagen, Denmark thanks to Partners 4 Value Consortium. The internship was quite short but I was satisfied with what I learnt and experienced as I was assigned various ad hoc tasks within and outside my administrative and finance tasks. The variety of tasks gave me more experience of how to prioritize, implement, finalize tasks and work independently. Taking up an internship at the UNDP is something I will strongly recommend to prospective interns, likewise UNDP is a multinational organization where I will strongly recommend to potential interns as it is a platform that can help them build their career.
