Internship at Procter&Gamble – Brussels Innovation Center
This summer I gained Master’s degree of Psychology at Vilnius University. I applied for an Erasmus+ program and immediately after graduation I started my 6 months internship at Procter & Gamble (P&G) which is the world’s largest multinational consumer goods company. My internship took place in Brussels Innovation Center, Belgium. In this Research & Development center more than 1000 people are working on inventing new and improving Fabric & Home Care products (such as Ariel, Lenor, Dash, Fairy and many more).
My main tasks were planning, leading and executing consumer researches, analyzing the data, writing reports etc. This was my first experience working in such a big company. I must admit that it took almost one month until I become familiar with everything. My supervisor and other colleagues helped me a lot through the journey. At the same time I always felt that interns are treated equally as part of the team. My ideas and initiative were always accepted positively. I strongly believe that in the future I will be able to apply all gained knowledge and skills.
Moreover, this internship helped me to grow as a person. It helped me to discover my new interest, my personal strength and became more initiative. I am very happy that during my internship I have got the chance to meet people from all around the world. It was not possible to be bored because we were having a lot of fun with other interns after work.
Thanks to this Erasmus+ experience I have discovered that I love doing this type of job and that I would like to have similar type of job in the future. I am thankful for Partners4value for this opportunity. I encourage all students who have doubts to step out from your comfort zone and take this amazing opportunity.
