Internship experience in Italian startup company

I am always curious about new experience in life so me and my friend Agne took an
internship in Italian startup company “Oncology and Cytogenic Products” (OaCP). That was an
amazing two months experience, where we had a pleasure to work in tandem with CEO of the
company.
OaCP founder Enrico Di Oto is an excellent man with PhD and 15 years experience in
Oncology so he came up with an idea to start a startup company in the field that he is good at.
My mentor lead us at laboratory work, explained technique that we used for diagnostic of cancer
cells. However, not only I had an experience in lab work in oncology sector but also Enrico
explained a lot of important matter about bureaucracy to start a company.
On weekends we explored Italy. Tripping around Italy was an unforgettable learning about
Italian culture, food, wines, people, cities. As I now know Italians are very sociable, passionate
about pasta and wine, have a lot of stories to tell. After Rome, Venice, Florence I’ve got in love
with Italy’s beauty of architecture, narrow streets and colorful Vespa.
I think and hope that new skills will help me in future career in Oncology diagnostic sector,
plus I always have the mentors/friends to seek help for my new ideas for prospect startup.
