Internship at Architecture and urban design office FABRICations in Amsterdam

After my bachelor studies of Architecture in VGTU, I decided to use a chance to gain some professional experience in architectural and urban design leading country – Netherlands. I found an urban design office called FABRICations that perfectly fits my field of interests. I was super enthusiastic about the chance to be involved in some big scale design competitions, that made my proffesional arguments stronger, and more based on research. Since I was living in Netherlands for 6 months, office was not the only place to learn things. By being a part of one of the most open-minded society, I could learn the new ways of reacting to differences in mentality. Cycling every day no matter if it rains or snows, changes the way you look to city culture, the way I understand infrastructure and healthy urbanism as well. All these things stimulates my desire to create qualities of design in Lithuanian cities after some time as well. This internship also solved all my doubts about master degree that I am pretty sure I will do as urban design branch next year in Netherlands.
