(English) Marketing Internship at 1Global Translators in Spain

From February 2016 until June 2016 I did an internship as a Marketing Assistant in a translation agency 1Global Translators, which is based in Barcelona.

The workplace is very enjoyable and it is actually an environment where you be very productive. Inside the marketing department where I was working, there were many interns from different countries. That made the workplace that much more enjoyable, as I felt as an important part of a team.

One of the reasons why I feel satisfied with this internship, is because I was allowed to try different things concerning marketing. I was responsible for carrying out various marketing campaigns, implementing changes on the website, doing statistical analysis, managing social media accounts and writing articles.

Such tasks allowed me to significantly improve my marketing skills as well as learn to do new things. Furthermore, it allowed me to gain a new perspective on ways the specific market can be approached. In addition, I am particularly happy with having gained a much better understanding in SEO, because I feel as this is one of my best area of expertise.

5 months of living and working in Barcelona allowed me to advance my Spanish and communication skills. I feel really grateful for this experience and I have no doubt that this internship made a much better marketing professional, who will continue to work in this field.
