My 6 month graduate internship at IOM in Brussels
During my 6 months internship at the Regional Implementation Unit of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Brussels I was assigned with many various tasks in different fields as communication and visibility, recruitment, procurement, documents preparation and finalization, etc. This diversity gave me practical experience of how to multi-task, prioritize and work independently. It was very useful experience and all competencies I have acquired helped me to improve as a young professional and also improve my understanding about international career and working with EU institutions. Also how to work effectively and harmoniously in a team of colleagues of varied cultural and professional backgrounds. It made me curious about other cultures and its people and of course led me to grow as a person. Working in a worldwide organization gave me intellectual and practical skills that are going to be very valuable in the future.
