About Us

Partners 4 Value initiative is the Consortium established between the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) and the leading Lithuanian universities (Vilnius University, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, Kaunas University of Technology, Vytautas Magnus University and Klaipeda University) established at national level in Lithuania aiming to expand “real life” training opportunities for students and university personnel through Business-International Organisations-University partnerships. This will contribute towards improving young people employment readiness, job prospects in local and international markets and increasing Lithuanians representation in EU, intergovernmental organisations and international business structures.

Host organisations equally benefit from qualified temporary support and early talents pre-selection opportunity.

The Initiative is based on individually managed long term partnerships built with receiving organisations (International Partners Platform) to ensure mutual benefits, quality standards and best realisation of learning outcomes. Partners 4 Value initiative provides receiving organisations with “one channel” for communication, pre-selection from 5 leading Lithuanian universities  and ensures individualised relations management (2 Coordinators).

This initiative was started and managed by the UNDP Lithuania together with participating high education establishments (HEIs) back in 2010. Since the closure of the UNDP Country Office in Lithuania, the Initiative was legally entrusted to the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists playing the coordinating role within the Consortium and ensuring business development.

The established International Partners Network entails over 100 organisations ranging from intergovernmental organisations (UNWTO, UNICRI, IOM, OTIF, UNIDROIT, UNSSC, UNHCR, UNDP, NATO, OSCE), national bodies, think tanks/research institutes, NGOs, private companies from abroad including multinationals.

Since 2014 Partners 4 Value have started building the Lithuanian Employers Network offering quality placements for students at their respective organizations/companies.

The Consortium has been awarded the Erasmus+ Accreditation of Higher Education Mobility Consortia No. 2014-1-LT01-KA108-000387 for 2014-2016 and the requested grant for mobility activities.
