Communication and Media Planning Experience in London
Still wonder if you should take an internship challenge abroad? No other answer than “You just simply must”. I graduated from Vilnius University last summer and decided to use this opportunity right after it. I got my bachelor in Communications so was looking for a company that could suit my goals and would be an inspiring place for a person with some basic theoretical and little practical knowledge in this field.
The beginning is always challenging
It was a bit scary at the beginning when I started looking for a place to apply. There were so many questions to answer for myself. Which country to go? Which company to write first? How to find the right words to presents myself? But in fact, things are not that hard if you not make them so.
Efforts always pay off
I got the Communication and Media Planning trainee position for one business advisory and support services company in London. I thought, can it get even better? The team I closely worked with was highly professional, self – driven and ready to take risks for the better. People were kindly sharing their expertise and knowledge with me and I learned a lot from them. Despite that, I had my own responsibilities for content creation, data analysis and performance in social media. I think all this experience will be very helpful for my future career.
There were lots of fun during free time too. What can be better than meeting interesting people, visiting beautiful places and trying delicious food wherever you go?
Either you choose a tiny or a huge city, a startup or a corporate company – it is worth going.Thank you for this unforgettable opportunity!
